Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal paid a surprise visit to Government Haji Abdul Qayyum District Headquarters Hospital, in which Assistant Commissioner Maham Wahid and CEO Health Dr. Abdul Majeed Niazi were also with him. Reviewed the special counter set up for rubella and measles vaccination in the hospital and checked the records. During the visit, he visited the patients undergoing treatment in different wards and reviewed the medical facilities provided in detail. The ADCG met the patients admitted to the dengue ward and obtained information about their health and directed them to provide the best care. He also inspected the special counter set up for measles and rubella vaccination and checked the records. On this occasion, he strictly instructed the concerned staff that every child coming to the hospital must be vaccinated against measles and rubella so that the spread of diseases can be prevented. The Additional Deputy Commissioner General also directed the hospital administration to improve overall service delivery and ensure timely provision of facilities to the patients. Later, he chaired a review meeting of the measles and rubella prevention campaign at the CEO Health Office. He directed that all children below the age of five should be vaccinated during the campaign that will continue till November 29 to protect them from measles and rubella.
