*On the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, STEAM Competition 2025 was organized in Sahiwal district. Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Shahid Mahmood, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Captain (R) Usama Majeed Cheema, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal and Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal Maham Wahid were present. The students demonstrated great skill and passion in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and maths. Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood said that such competitions are very important to enhance the creative abilities of students and promote science, technology, engineering arts and mathematics. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is taking several steps for the development of the education sector and organizing STEM competitions is also a part of this series. These competitions were held in Sahiwal district under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Sahiwal Tanveer Ahmed Ghazali. In the competitions, the first position was won by Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School Sahiwal, the second position was won by Government High School 86 Six R Sahiwal and the third position was won by Government Higher Secondary School 9/120 L Kamir. This competition not only highlights the creative talents of children but also determines the modern educational direction of the future.
