A grand event in honor of Pakistan Media President Zakaullah Mohsin, Saudi-Pakistan relations and issues of journalists discussed

An important and memorable event was held in Jeddah for Pakistani journalism and the overseas community, in which Pakistan Journalist Forum Chairman Amir Muhammad Khan organized a special dinner in honor of Pakistan Media President Zakaullah Mohsin. The event was attended by a discussion on Saudi Arabia-Pakistan relations,
Khalid Nawaz Cheema and Pakistan Journalist Forum General Secretary Jamil Rathore. All the participants together described the presence of Pakistani media as a source of trust and communication for the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia.
While mentioning Saudi-Pakistan relations, Zakaullah Mohsin said that the media and the journalist community are playing a bridge role in the relations of the two countries and journalism is not only news but also a tool of friendship and diplomacy.
Issues of the journalist community: The challenges faced by journalists in the present era, security issues and professional rights were discussed in detail. And opportunities to raise the voice of the community were emphasized.
Chairman Amir Muhammad Khan said:
“The Pakistani media and the overseas community are not just news but also a powerful source of national identity and public service.”
President Pakistan Media Zakaullah Mohsin said:
“It is our responsibility to raise our voice for the rights of journalists and maintain professional standards, because journalism is not just a profession but a national mission.”
At the end of the event, the participants unanimously said that they would continue their constant cooperation to promote relations between the Pakistani community, overseas journalists and the two countries, and vowed to strengthen public service and national dignity through the media.
