FESCO maintains zero load-shedding and resolves over 6,000 complaints during Eid-ul-Fitr
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) ensured uninterrupted power supply to consumers across the region during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.On the directives of Chief Executive FESCO Faislabad Region, Engineer Muhammad Aamer a special monitoring cell was established at FESCO Headquarters to oversee the continuous supply of electricity during the holidays. Additionally, dedicated teams were formed for the immediate resolution of consumer complaints, which were personally supervised by the Chief Executive.
During Eid-ul-Fitr, the electricity demand in the FESCO region remained approximately 859 MW, while the allocated quota was 979 MW. Due to the balance between demand and supply, no load management was carried out in any of the eight districts of the region.Senior FESCO officers actively monitored load management, LT/HT breakdowns and the resolution of individual consumer complaints. They also ensured prompt restoration of electricity in case of any emergency or power outage and kept the Chief Executive continuously updated on operational matters. To handle emergencies effectively, operational staff were deployed with transformer trolleys and additional equipment to ensure immediate replacement of faulty transformers and uninterrupted power flow.Central complaint centers established at FESCO Headquarters and six operation circles remained functional round the clock. In case of faults or tripping, immediate response was ensured and feeders were restored without delay.During the Eid holidays, a total of 6,393 complaints from the six operation circles were registered at the special monitoring cell at FESCO Headquarters all of which were resolved promptly.Under the supervision of Chief Executive Engineer Muhammad Aamer, FESCO ensured continuous electricity supply not only in urban areas but also in remote rural areas, enhancing the festive joy of consumers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.The Chief Executive appreciated the performance of field officers and staff for their timely response and excellent service delivery during the holidays. He reiterated FESCO’s commitment to maintaining its tradition of providing uninterrupted electricity supply to its consumers.
