DG Research Visits Under-Construction Diagnostic Laboratory in Chiniot

FAISALABAD: Overview of the Visit
According to the details, Director General Punjab Research Dr. Sajjad Hussain, along with Director Livestock Faisalabad Division Dr. Haider Ali Khan and Director ADDRS Punjab Dr. Haleema Saadia, visited the under-construction diagnostic laboratory in Chiniot.
Inspection of Construction Progress and Standards
During the visit, a detailed review of the ongoing construction work was conducted. The inspection covered the project’s progress, adherence to approved standards, and the overall quality of work.
Relevant officials briefed the delegation on the technical aspects of the project, completion timeline, and operational planning.
Emphasis on Timely Completion and Quality Standards
Dr. Sajjad Hussain emphasized the importance of completing the project within the stipulated time and directed that all work be carried out in accordance with high-quality standards.
He highlighted that the establishment of this modern diagnostic laboratory would significantly improve:
- Early disease detection
- Surveillance systems
- Service delivery in the livestock sector
