Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reached Doha on a day-long official visit to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit being held today. The summit has been convened to condemn Israel’s attack on Qatar and review its implications for regional peace and security. During his stay, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet a number of world leaders, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Over 50 heads of state and government are expected to attend the high-level gathering.
