Flags Unlimited, a Canadian flag manufacturer, has reported a doubling of sales compared to the previous year, a surge attributed to rising tensions with the United States. This increase coincides with the 60th anniversary of Canada’s National Flag Day on February 15. Co-owner Matt Skipp links the heightened demand to recent threats from U.S. President Donald Trump concerning Canadian sovereignty. In response, many Canadians have canceled trips to the U.S., boycotted American products, and displayed national symbols more prominently. To meet the growing demand, Flags Unlimited is considering additional shifts and sourcing extra materials.
