Empowerment of Underprivileged Girls: 90 Students Receive Certificates and Livelihood Kits in Faisalabad

Six-Month Training Program Concludes with Distribution of Sewing Machines, Beautician Kits, and Scholarships

Faisalabad:
A prestigious certificate and distribution ceremony was held in Faisalabad under the auspices of Tanzeem Baraye Bedari Khawateen wa Dehi Taraqqi (Award Pakistan) upon the completion of a six-month training program aimed at empowering young girls from underprivileged backgrounds A total of 90 students who successfully completed courses in stitching, fashion designing, and beautician skills were awarded certificates along with essential equipment to help them start their own businesses The ceremony was presided over by chief guest Shehzad Bashir while the guests of honor included Ms Rubina Amjad founder and former president Faisalabad Yemen Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ahmed Bilal from the State Bank of Pakistan Peter Shehzad and Haroon Rashid The program was led by Christina Peter Executive Director of Award Pakistan and Senior Vice President Faisalabad

Yemen Chamber of Commerce and Industries Award Pakistan not only imparted skills to these students but also ensured their financial empowerment by providing equipment worth millions of rupees All 90 students were given sewing machines and beautician kits while scholarships worth one million rupees were distributed among top-performing trainees Addressing the ceremony Christina Peter stated that the organization’s goal is not just to hand over certificates but to enable these girls to support their families economically Chief guest Shehzad Bashir and Rubina Amjad appreciated the efforts of Award Pakistan emphasizing that empowering women through skills development is key to national progress They praised the dedication of the students and encouraged them to establish their presence in the market Speakers including Parvez Paul Najam Rashid Akmal Javed Gill and Azeem Christopher also expressed their views stating that Award Pakistan is a committed social organization working actively in Faisalabad and surrounding areas for the education skills development and economic uplift of marginalized communities especially women and youth
