FAISALABAD: The Regional Police Office (RPO) Faisalabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Career Institute (Private) Limited to provide special educational fee concessions for the children of police officers and personnel.The MoU was signed by Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera and Chairman of Career Institute (Pvt) Ltd, Muhammad Adeel Javed.Under the agreement, 100 per cent fee concession will be granted to the children of police martyrs (Shuhada), 75 per cent concession to the children of Ghazi police officers and 50 per cent concession to the children of serving police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera said the objective of the agreement was to ensure access to quality education for the children of police personnel. He said that the MoU would help police families complete their children’s education without financial hardship and would contribute to their long-term welfare.
He added that police officers and personnel perform their duties round the clock to safeguard the lives and property of the public and providing affordable, quality education to their children was an important component of the police department’s welfare policy.The RPO Sohail Sukhera reiterated that the Faisalabad police remained fully committed to the welfare of its martyrs, Ghazis and serving personnel and to securing a better future for their families through educational support.
