Chicken prices have surged in several cities, causing concern among consumers.

In Peshawar, the price of live broiler chicken has risen by an additional Rs. 25, increasing from Rs. 485 to Rs. 510 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, in Karachi, prices have seen a significant hike as shopkeepers ignore the official rate of Rs. 635 per kilogram set yesterday, charging higher prices at their discretion.
