The meeting was attended by SP Investigation Abdul Majeed Chaudhry, DSP Headquarters Chaudhry Sikandar Hayat Gondal, DSP Saddar Jameel Ahmed, DSP CIA Amir Shaheen Gondal, and DSP Traffic Muhammad Ilyas, along with SHOs and investigating officers from all police stations across the district. A detailed review was conducted regarding the overall law and order situation, crime prevention, the investigation of cases, the arrest of proclaimed offenders and fugitives, and police performance. During the meeting, police officers briefed the DPO on the crime situation and the status of ongoing investigations in their respective areas. DPO Kamran Amir Khan directed the officers to intensify operations against criminal elements and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property at all costs. He instructed officers to enhance effective patrolling, snap-checking, and search operations in their areas, while taking indiscriminate action against drug dealers, illegal weapon holders, thieves, dacoits, and other criminals. He also ordered effective measures, including the formation of special teams, to apprehend proclaimed offenders and fugitives. Furthermore, the DPO directed investigating officers to finalize pending cases promptly—strictly adhering to merit and the law—utilize modern investigative techniques, and ensure that case challans are submitted to the courts on time. He urged police officers to address citizens’ complaints on a priority basis, stating that no negligence or laxity in providing prompt justice to the public would be tolerated. Kamran Amir Khan emphasized that the police’s primary responsibility is to safeguard the lives, property, and honor of citizens, and directed that all available resources be utilized to achieve this objective. He instructed officers to strengthen the bond of trust between the police and the public alongside their efforts to prevent crime. While reviewing the officers’ performance, the DPO made it clear that those demonstrating excellence would be encouraged, whereas departmental action would be taken against anyone showing negligence, lethargy, or irresponsibility in the discharge of their duties. Concluding the meeting, DPO Kamran Amir Khan directed all officers to perform their duties with utmost diligence, professional responsibility, and dedication to ensure the maintenance of law and order, the eradication of crime, and the timely provision of police services to the citizens.
