Abid Hussain Bhatti Reviews Sanitation Operation in Faisalabad, Seeks Direct Public Feedback

FAISALABAD: Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Faisalabad Abid Hussain Bhatti visited different areas of the city and reviewed the ongoing sanitation operation and door-to-door waste collection in detail.During the visit, he inspected the performance of sanitation staff, cleanliness conditions in streets and markets, and the process of door-to-door collection of household waste. He also observed the cleaning activities being carried out by sanitation teams on roads, streets and in commercial areas and directed the staff to further improve cleanliness standards.Abid Hussain Bhatti interacted with sanitation workers at various locations and obtained information about their field activities and operational issues. He also inspected the ongoing sanitation activities and reviewed the overall performance of the teams.During the field visit, the Managing Director met shopkeepers and citizens and sought direct feedback regarding door-to-door waste collection and sanitation arrangements. He asked citizens about the cleanliness situation, regularity of waste collection and problems being faced by them.Abid Hussain Bhatti said that the primary objective of the Suthra Punjab Agency was to provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment. He said effective monitoring of sanitation operations and timely redressal of public complaints were being ensured.
He directed sanitation staff to maintain cleanliness regularly in streets, markets and commercial areas and pay special attention to the timely lifting and disposal of waste.He further said that public feedback played an important role in improving the sanitation system. Therefore, complaints and suggestions of citizens would be given due consideration. He also directed officials to continuously monitor the attendance, field presence and practical performance of sanitation staff.
Field officers and relevant staff of the Suthra Punjab Agency were also present during the visit.
