Armed men attack in Nushki, 10 vehicles torched, one person injured
Quetta (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai)
According to details, last night in the Padak and Mill area of Nushki, armed men opened fire on parked vehicles and then set them on fire, as a result of which 10 vehicles were completely burnt to ashes, including 4 bowser vehicles. One person was also reported injured in the incident.
It should be noted that such incidents are occurring almost daily on the Quetta-Karachi and Quetta-Taftan highways. Earlier too, 6 LPG bowsers were torched in the Mill area, while 10 vehicles were set on fire in an attack on a convoy carrying minerals.
Transporters in Balochistan have strongly demanded the government to take immediate and effective measures to establish the writ of the state on the highways, so that the lives and property of the public can be protected and the destruction of vehicles worth billions of rupees can be prevented.
