The American planes that arrived in Sri Lanka to help the people affected by the disaster in my country left the country today

Due to the adverse weather conditions in our country, floods and landslides occurred. During this time, two American C130 aircraft and a crew of 60 people worked in our country from 2025.12.07 to 2025.12.13 for relief and rescue services for the affected people. They were engaged in the task of transporting relief materials for the affected people in the areas of Jaffna, Mattala, Ampara and Anuradhapura from the Katunayake and Ratmalana Air Force Bases. Today (December 14, 2025) after completing their mission, one aircraft and its crew left the country. .The American military, search and rescue team, including the personnel who extended a helping hand to our country affected by the disaster would like to express my gratitude to the American military search and rescue team.
