Faisalabad: An important crime meeting of officers of Lyallpur and Madina divisions was held in his office under the chairmanship of City Police Officer Sahibzada Bilal Umar. The meeting was attended by SP Lyallpur Division Abid Zafar, SP Madina Division Jehandad Akram, SDPOs, SHOs, in-charge investigation and investigation officers.
The meeting reviewed the progress in solving murder, dacoity, theft, banditry and other serious crimes and considered a comprehensive strategy to combat crimes.
The CPO directed the investigation officers to ensure merit and transparency in the investigation of cases, while the SHOs were directed to make the police patrol system more effective to prevent theft, dacoity and banditry.
He said that a strict and effective checking mechanism should be adopted at all entry and exit points of the city to eliminate declared criminals and terrorism.
CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar, while emphasizing the immediate redressal of public complaints, said that police personnel should adopt a polite and respectful attitude towards citizens.
He said that all officers should perform their duties with honesty, integrity and a spirit of service so that law and order can be maintained in the city.
Finally, the CPO clarified that the protection of life and property of the public is the top priority of Faisalabad Police, and no negligence will be tolerated for this purpose.
