On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, an awareness walk/rally will be organized by the District Police Mandi Bahauddin on Tuesday, November 25 at 11 am, which will be led by District Police Officer Mandi Bahauddin Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi. In the awareness walk, SP Investigation Chaudhry Amjad Mahmood Gujar, DSP Head Headquarters Chaudhry Sikandar Hayat Gondal, DSP President Chaudhry Muhammad Amjad Khokhar, DSP Traffic Chaudhry Rashid Bashir Khatana, DSP Legal Ghazanfar Hayat Tala, Bureau Chief SAMAA Lahore and PTV News Representative Mandi Bahauddin Raja Muhammad Ayub, Public Relations Officer Sub Inspector Riyats Ali, SHOs of police stations, lawyers, traders, journalists, bankers and a large number of citizens will participate in the walk. According to the police spokesperson, the aim of this walk is to emphasize the need to raise awareness among women and society about women’s rights and violence against them so that every oppressed woman can get legal assistance for her rights and to end traditional violence against her. DPO Mandi Bahauddin Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi has ordered police officers across the district to take practical steps to prevent and remedy such incidents. PRO Riyat Ali Sub-Inspector told Bureau Chief Daily Samaa and PTV News Mandi Bahauddin Raja Muhammad Ayub during an exclusive conversation that the walk will start at 11 am from Children’s Hospital and will end in front of the Press Club Mandi Bahauddin through various roads and markets. There is great enthusiasm and excitement among police officers and youths across the district to participate in the walk.
