Faisababad: Following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the divisional administration in Faisalabad is actively working to ensure 100% delivery of municipal services to citizens. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar. The Commissioner appointed the Additional Commissioner Coordination, Revenue, Consolidation, and the Director of Local Government as in-charges for each town of the city.
During the meeting, it was decided to link field officers from WASA, PHA, FDA, Environmental Protection, Municipal Corporation, and Waste Management Company with the supervisory officer of the Commissioner’s Office in each town. The Commissioner directed that each town-wise team should address public issues on the spot within their respective jurisdictions.
He further stated that a performance review meeting of the town-wise teams would be held after three days. All relevant departments were instructed to maintain effective coordination with the in-charge officer of the Commissioner’s Office. The Commissioner emphasized that through joint efforts, municipal services would be efficiently delivered and public issues resolved promptly.
