Population Control emphasized as essential for sustainable development, economic stability, and improved public services in Toba Tek Singh.

Toba Tek Singh: District Population Welfare Officer Toba Tek Singh Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem has said that controlling the rapidly growing population has become a pressing need of the time as unchecked population growth not only hinders economic development but also puts immense pressure on health, education and other basic services.

In his statement, he highlighted that resources are limited while the population continues to increase, making it increasingly difficult to provide essential facilities to the public. He warned that if the population growth rate is not balanced, the challenges may become more severe in the future.Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem further stated that the Population Welfare Department is taking various steps to raise public awareness, including family planning campaigns, seminars and community-level guidance.

He emphasized that for a healthy society, it is important for every family to plan the number of children according to their resources.He also urged religious scholars, teachers, civil society and the media to play their role in this important national cause to promote responsible behavior among the public. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to continuing its awareness efforts in the future.
