Azad Kashmir: An Indivisible Bond with Pakistan and the Need for National Unity

The recent political tensions and some unfortunate incidents in Azad Jammu and Kashmir have caused concern among every patriotic Pakistani. Differences of opinion are part of democratic societies, but when these differences reach a point where national unity, peace, and stability are affected, it becomes the responsibility of every conscious citizen to act with wisdom and responsibility.
In my view, the relationship between Azad Kashmir and Pakistan is not merely one of borders, but a bond of faith, history, culture, sacrifices, and shared struggle. A large segment of the people of Pakistan consider Kashmir an important part of their national identity, which is why the slogan “Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan” is seen as a symbol of national sentiment and solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
It is unfortunate that there are also elements who try to create unrest in Azad Kashmir by fueling divisions. In my opinion, if any external power or its supported elements dream of creating mistrust between Pakistan and the Kashmiri people or weakening this strong bond, they will not succeed in their objectives. God willing, their malicious designs will fail, because the state of Pakistan, its people, and its security institutions have always remained committed to protecting the country’s sovereignty, security, and national interests.
As a Pakistani, I firmly believe that Pakistan’s relationship with the Kashmiri people goes beyond temporary political circumstances. This bond is rooted in sacrifice, trust, and shared history, and it cannot be weakened through hatred, propaganda, or conspiracies.
Today, the need of the hour is that all political and social circles in Azad Kashmir promote patience, the rule of law, and dialogue so that no one gets the opportunity to spread chaos. National unity is the strength that can defeat every conspiracy.
Long live Pakistan, long live Azad Kashmir. May Allah Almighty bless Azad Kashmir with peace, progress, and stability, keep the bond of love and brotherhood between Pakistan and the Kashmiri people strong forever, and grant failure to all those forces that seek to spread unrest and instability in this region.
