🚗 BMW Faces €1 Billion Hit from Trade Tariffs in 2025

BMW expects to incur €1 billion ($1.09 billion) in trade tariff costs this year, CEO Oliver Zipse said on Friday. The German automaker is factoring in EU duties on its China-made electric vehicles (EVs) and new U.S. tariffs, which are disrupting global trade. The rising tariffs come amid escalating trade tensions, forcing automakers to navigate increasing costs and shifting supply chains. BMW, which produces vehicles in multiple regions, may have to adjust pricing and manufacturing strategies to counter the impact.
