Houston’s Marquee Ranch Welcomes Cricket Legend Younis Khan

Houston: Former Pakistan cricket captain and legendary batsman Younis Khan visited the popular Marquee Ranch in Wharton City, where he spent a pleasant day at the invitation of well–known Houston restaurateur and businessman Israr Saeed.
Younis Khan, along with Rafi Ali, the organizer of the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League, also toured the site allocated for the construction of a dedicated cricket stadium within the ranch. During the visit, Israr Saeed briefed Younis Khan on the development plan, stating that 10 acres of land have been reserved for the stadium and construction work will begin soon. He expressed the hope that Younis Khan himself will inaugurate the stadium upon its completion.
The legendary cricketer also interacted with fans present at the ranch and posed for photographs, creating a warm and festive environment.
Spread over 80 acres, Marquee Ranch is located along Highway 59 in Wharton and has quickly become a point of attraction for the Pakistani community in Houston. The ranch offers scenic natural views, a lake, food and accommodation facilities, and recreational activities such as fishing, boating, horse riding, and family picnic spaces.
In recent months, the ranch has also emerged as a venue of interest for Pakistani celebrities, with visits and media-related activities including Pakistani drama shoots now beginning to take place there.
Businessman Israr Saeed said that further entertainment and recreational amenities will continue to be added to enhance public experience, making Marquee Ranch a growing community hub for Pakistanis in Houston.
