Prominent political, social, and business figures attend the Toronto Eid Brunch hosted in Canada
Toronto: On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, prominent social and political figure Fahad Iqbal and his family hosted a grand Toronto Eid Brunch at My Kolachi Restaurant in Canada. The elegant gathering was attended by distinguished political, social, and business personalities from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), along with respected guests from various walks of life.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the Qaseeda Burda Shareef, creating a spiritually uplifting and serene atmosphere for attendees. On this occasion, Canada’s Federal Secretary for Crime Prevention, Ruby Sahota, and Senator Salma Ataullahjan addressed the gathering, extending Eid greetings to everyone present. They appreciated Fahad Iqbal and his family for their continuous contributions to the community in Canada.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Toronto, Mr. Bajwa, also attended the event. He met with guests and shared in the festive spirit, offering his best wishes on the occasion of Eid. Fahad Iqbal expressed special thanks to Asim Siddiqui, who traveled from Washington to attend the event, acknowledging his presence as a great honor. The event concluded with a collective prayer for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah, progress and prosperity of nations, and global peace. The Toronto Eid Brunch created a memorable experience, spreading joy and fostering community unity during this special occasion.
