Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail inaugurated online classrooms at the University of Balochistan and distributed laptops among students.

Laptops were distributed to deserving students at the University of Balochistan under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme.
Chancellor of the University of Balochistan and Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail distributed laptops to students as the chief guest. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, Member of the National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, Members of the Provincial Assembly Kulsoom Niaz and Hadia Nawaz, representatives of Sukkur IBA University, Professor Dr. Javed Ahmed Shahani, and other dignitaries were also present.
In his address, Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that the provision of digital tools will enable students to better benefit from modern online education and research, and the youth of Balochistan will play a full role in national development.
Congratulating the students, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai said that the acquisition of laptops is an important milestone for promoting digital learning and raising the standard of research at the University of Balochistan.
At the end of the ceremony, Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai presented commemorative shields to the Governor of Balochistan and other distinguished guests.

Chancellor of the University of Balochistan and Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail inaugurated a modern smart classroom for online education at the University of Balochistan. This project has been established with financial support from the European Union under the Erasmus+ CBHE RAPID Project, which is led by Sukkur IBA University.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, MNA Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, MPAs Kulsoom Niaz and Hadia Nawaz, representatives of Sukkur IBA University, faculty members, and students.
In his speech, Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that smart classrooms will play a vital role in promoting quality and modern education in Balochistan and will help connect students with national and international educational opportunities.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai stated that this project will open new avenues for the promotion of digital education, research, and online teaching at the University of Balochistan.
During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Javed Ahmed Shahani gave a briefing on the RAPID project, while European Union representative Jeroen Willems, in his online address, expressed commitment to continued cooperation for the promotion of higher education and digital learning. Experts from IBA Karachi and LUMS also presented successful experiences of online teaching and smart classrooms on the occasion.
At the conclusion of the event, commemorative shields were presented to the Governor of Balochistan and other distinguished guests.
At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai thanked Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and all the honorable guests.
