ATTOCK: Attock Police conducted a district-wide flag march to ensure law and order and maintain foolproof security arrangements ahead of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

According to police officials, the flag march was organized to strengthen security measures, reassure the public, and demonstrate the readiness of law enforcement agencies to maintain peace during the religious observance.

The flag march was attended by personnel from the District Police, Elite Force, Traffic Police, and other law enforcement agencies. The initiative aimed to enhance the public’s sense of security, ensure a visible police presence across the district, and send a clear message to anti-social elements that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to disturb the peace.

Speaking on the occasion, District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Sardar Mowar Khan, said comprehensive security arrangements had been finalized for all mourning processions and religious gatherings being held across the district during the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

He added that Attock Police remain on high alert and are fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens while ensuring a peaceful and secure environment throughout the religious event.
