Grand Ceremony Held for Inauguration of Cricket Academy at Ayub Stadium Quetta, Inaugurated by Meena Majeed Baloch

A graceful ceremony was organized for the inauguration of the Cricket Academy at Ayub Sports Complex Quetta.
The Cricket Academy was inaugurated by Provincial Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch, while Secretary Sports Dura Baloch was also present on the occasion.
The Balochistan Sports Board Cricket Academy was formally inaugurated after renovation and upgradation by the Sports Department, Government of Balochistan at Ayub Sports Complex. Provincial Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs Meena Majeed Baloch inaugurated the academy by cutting the ribbon, accompanied by Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Dura Baloch.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Additional Secretary Sports Sajjad Aslam, District Sports Officer Quetta Arsalan Khan, Academy Coach Basheer Magsi, Academy Coach Arbab Shakir and other officials, along with a large number of academy players.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Advisor for Sports Meena Majeed Baloch said that the Government of Balochistan is taking practical steps to provide quality sports facilities to the youth. She said that we continuously visited the cricket academy and conducted a detailed review of the problems and existing facilities, after which it was decided to improve and upgrade the academy. According to her, earlier there were only two cricket pitches in the academy, which have now been increased to ten, while high-quality nets have also been installed on all pitches. In addition, dressing rooms and washrooms have been completely renovated and made functional, tuff tiles have been laid on the floor, a water filtration system has been installed for clean drinking water and the electricity problem has also been resolved.
Addressing the ceremony, Secretary Sports Dura Baloch said that cricketers from Balochistan have proved their best abilities at every level. The main objective of the Sports Department is to provide modern training facilities to young players so that they can achieve significant successes in national and international competitions in the future. He also emphasized that players from all provinces should get equal opportunities and talented cricketers from Balochistan should also be given full representation at the national level.
